video games
The Postal Dude asked:

I have been told that video games are addiction and that the ”time lost” playing them seriously afflicts the other accomplishments of that person, also that it affects the brain and temperment of the player. I usually see non- intelligent types playing the games in store, some actually look retarded and I do also see mostly black latin males playing - not females and not the white kids. Has anybody researched the significance of this does anybody know ? Same thing at my local game stop stores. I wonder why the special attraction to these groups, if it has been proven that there is of course.

i’m not aware of any studies done that are specific to various ethnic groups. i have seen some research that indicates there are legitimate addictions to internet and gaming.
